For this vacation rental in Gilbert, our mission was to create a standout property amidst the many options in the area. We completely gutted the house and started from scratch, exposing the truss system to open up the small space and infuse it with an industrial feel. Countless custom touches were added, including a fluted concrete island paired with a matching fireplace bench, a custom-tiled range hood, and a glass backsplash that floods the once-dark kitchen with natural light. The primary bathroom features one of the most unique showers we've ever designed, with a tiled drop-down ceiling adding a dramatic flair. To make a bold statement, we painted the exterior of the house black, setting it apart in a neighborhood of predominantly white homes. The result is a striking, modern retreat that offers a unique and memorable experience for guests.
