This modern home, situated on a generational plot in the remote expanse of rural Texas, stands as a testament to both simplicity and striking design. In an area so secluded that Highway Country Road is the only named thoroughfare, we created a simple yet captivating structure with metal framing. The house's clean lines and raw materials, including polished concrete floors and exposed stacked CMU, form a bold contrast against the serene countryside. Positioned for maximum efficiency and breathtaking views, one side of the home is nearly all glass, inviting natural light to flood the interior, while the other side is clad in metal to shield against the harsh Texas elements. This project beautifully marries functionality with aesthetic brilliance, honoring the land's heritage while embracing modern design.
